• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Another Biden gaffe

The trouble for Biden is that every single gaffe, however small, will be headline news from now until election day. No focus will be on Trump or what the Republicans propose to do in government. It will be 'Biden's age, Biden's gaffes, Biden's everything'. CNN is 24/7 Biden right now, and has been since the debate.

The other issue is that the Democratic party is a shrieking mess right now, panicking that they will lose in November.

Those 2 things make me think Biden might well drop out between now and the Democratic Party convention next month.

Biden standing aside is inevitable at this point I reckon. We’ve all seen this is number of times in uk politics over the last few years and the never ending parade of prime ministers. They all start saying they’re not quitting, they’re ploughing on and can win. But a momentum builds up, the narrative changes, especially when the big media organs take an stance and it becomes a case of not if, but when. The Dems will make an as orderly as possible transition from Biden to Harris at some point between now and the convention I’m sure. I very much doubt Harris can beat Trump though. She has a number of genetic disadvantages.

Inevitable, he just called Zelensky f*cking Putin in a NATO meeting.. the tw*t should've been escorted out

If he’s become forgetful due to age it doesn’t make him a twat skip. It’s tragic on so many levels, personally, professionally and internationally. Unfortunately ego drives us all to an extent and there was talk a while back that he didn’t want to run again but his wife talked him in to it. He needs to be talked in to withdrawing now and those encouraging him to keep going need talking sense into.

I will call him a tw*t, Ukrainians are dying, it's serious stuff like, stop sticking up for him because he's a democrat, can you imagine if Trump said that.. you and ECBs boys would've ridiculed him and rightly so

I suspect he’s possibly got dementia, that’s why I mean he’s not a twat.

Do I think he should step aside? Absolutely.

…. And I don’t dislike Trump because he’s not a democrat either.

I'm sure his people would've picked up on it, if he did have dementia.. old age most probably.. you do get forgetful, he realised his error.. but he needs to retire, and everyone knows it

I doubt Biden has dementia, its more than likely a combination of things such as jet lag, overall tiredness and not a very good grasp of the topics being discussed due to his age.

Either way he needs to step aside.

He’s like this now. It’s impossible to imagine him lasting in power for a full 4 years

It could be al ot of things - I've seen similar symtoms in someone I know out down to vitamin D deficiency. I'm not saying he has dementia, but I've seen the onset of that too and it can look similar.

Anyway, it seems odd that his people haven't persuaded him to step aside yet.

A lot of things look similar, you know what they say when you assume.

I haven’t assumed anything. He’s an old man and he’s obviously struggling and maybe being president is not for him, and that doesn’t make him a twat, capiche? Now go and try to pick holes in something else.

Apologies if I've caused any offence, wasn't my intention to pick holes.

The basis of my reply was to an earlier one of your comments where you mentioned something about you suspecting he had dementia.

Which is not ‘assuming’, and I was actually defending him against someone else calling a twat because he’s become forgetful. Never mind anyway.
