Saturday night. Beer flowing. A thread about swans fans fighting over a union flag and/or a loyalist flag. This is gonna go well.

I bet the Cottage Burners started the fight too.

I haven't been on here in a while. I'm stuck at home with Covid so couldn't go to the game.

I watched it on a stream and saw that the loyalist rag was up over the advertising hoardings by the corner flag...and also another UJ. Saw the stewards getting invloved then and they disappeared. What's the story?

I heard the stewards threatened to fill them in and the loyalist run away scared...

I could have done with the popcorn an hour or so ago. That’s hopefully the last time we see this nonsense inside the ground, that applies to the flag(s) and the folk that brought them.

It’s the Welshy sorts. They don’t like flags if they aren’t Welshy ones.

While the union jack evidently isn't a lot of Swan's fans cup of tea, having them without any political statements written on are one thing.

The outwardly sectarian stuff though. What on earth is that about and what's that got to do with the Swansea and the football club!? It's bad news either way but I've never IRA flags at Swans games.

And what is making matters worse now is that this since the Cardiff game if you look on Twitter etc is being partly with the sole intention of goading fellow Swans fans.

This is bad news and will probably escalate further.

Simple answer here. Ban all flags and leave them to the under 7s who rightly put them on top of their sandcastles at the beach.

Grown men fighting over flags. What a bunch of absolute embarrassing morons. All of them.

Welshy's like myself issit dar?

I know what you're saying though. But the Loyalist stuff and "London is our capitol" stuff is just bizarre.

?
what actually happened? Did it kick off and the stewards got involved or was it stewards being asked to remove the flags?

As are flags with multiple club crests and / or names. Bizarre indeed.

Some shouting and arguing over the position of a flag, then it ended up on the ground and the pushing and shoving started from there.

Union Jack with Swans written on it. And there was the loyalist one too. The flags probably wouldn't be an issue if the flagshaggers weren't giving it large and winding people up. The twat with the Union jack thought he could take on the whole of the East stand. Calling out their own fans over a fkn flag, bunch of idiots.

Wish they'd leave that political stuff at home. And with a bit of luck home is where they'll be spending quite few games from now on if they get a ban.
