Also just to add that Walesonline called it. Perhaps our eastern cousins could stop talking shit.

"The displaying of Union Jacks by some fans is an emotive issue for many in the Jack Army and especially so when the flags also contain political-charged phrases or symbols."

Reading the Kieth Haynes piece, it is looking more and more like the issue was the actions of the fan rather than with the flag.
'The issue on Saturday was the owner waving a union flag provocatively in the faces of other supporters. ' Do that with a Swans flag, Y Ddraig Goch, Hammer and Sickle of Swastika and the reaction will be the same.

Aye
Both the knobjockeys were annoying those around them, standing on the seats and jostling the lasses sitting around them.
Would have kicked off with whatever flags.

Because they were behind me by a row or 2 and to my right, I only saw the UJ and what looked like the cross of St George.
My original thoughts were we had some Blackpool in with us.
Sure I saw it had Swansea City on it when the knobber was leaving- could be wrong

Punches started flowing when some cowardly tw@ ran down, threw a punch at the back of the head of the dick with the UJ flag and ran off like a little girl when he turned around.
Got my daughter out when the stewards entered the gate
Red hand childrens flag ended up between the hoardings and my seat.
Racist, bigoted, terrorist sh1te of any persuasion has no place in a football ground
If I still smoked that rag would have been tested for being of fire retardant material.

Them lot up the road, how they must be loving all this bollxs, and rightly so.

What a strange obsession some people have with “them up road” … does anyone really care, get a grip ffs

Yeah the flag does have Swansea City on it. It's been at loads of games hence my surprise when it kicked off.

Your better off asking that to the people who take union jacks to the derby then

Only really kicked off when some cowardly tw@ blindsided the lad with the UJ. Now he deserves a ban for acting like a petulant child and running off when the lad with the UJ turned around to face him up!
I'm sure I've seen that flag at matches away from home-just not seen him in the section by us.
Trouble is, he did himself no favours by jostling the ladies that normally sit in that area.

Don't remember seeing the dick with the red hand gang flag anywhere. I could have excused just an Ulster flag I'spose, although from the back it looks like the cross of St George.
Sectarian bollox like that along with the candle sh1te should stay up with the pub league teams in Glasgow.
And yes, I'd probably still be classed as proddy b'stard as I was when Operation Banner was on, even though I'm now Buddhist!

I'm a catholic. I care a lot about my religion, my Irish heritage, and my upbringing. That said, I don't bring it to games. When I'm down the stadium, I support the Swans alongside my fellow fans, no matter creed or culture.

In the same vein, I expect to be able to watch my team in SWANSEA, WALES without having groups waving around the red right hand, or flags with sectarian slogans/the UVF logo on them. These lads may think it is fashionable, but it is extremely hurtful. To be clear, I have no issue with the Union Jack. If you identify as British then fair enough, Swansea is part of the UK. But the sectarian crap has no place down the stadium or anywhere.

I know many may think I am soft, or that it's "just a flag" but I think a lot of these lads need to sit down and understand the meaning of the slogans they're chanting and flags they are holding up.

You’re not soft pal you’re 100% spot on.

A union jack is fine, we're British.. any idiot that disagrees has issues.. slogans and antagonising connotations should be scrutinised, just like the BLM tw*ts on the pitch doing a black power salute, kneeling is fine, but a black power salute in 2021

Its not a British thing though. Why do English Clubs etc not use the Union Flag if its a sign of being British as by the law of averages there can't be only Welsh people who identify as British???? Surely there would be other teams who play in the league structure putting union Jacks up in the away end if it were the case of identifying as British??
Its bum kissing loyalist bull sh1t. Get out of our club you Clowns.

I'm bringing a Nigerian flag with the words 'Pride of Scotland' written across it to the next home game

The Union Jack with Swansea City | London is our Capital is a personal favourite of mine.

Coventry City v Swansea City
