• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Another loan incoming?

Centre midfield, Arsenal has high hopes for him but it looks like it’s not going to happen for him there. Played a couple of times in the PL and got sent out on loan to Blackpool where they loved him apparently. If he kicks on he’ll be way too good for the championship.

Sent off at the Liberty!

Not exactly a goal scoring midfielder

We don’t play a Ntcham type midfielder, we have 2 strikers instead.

He will replace Ntcham but in terms of his role he can play anywhere, his versatility is his strength. He’s attacking and defensive, all round mid.

I guess we'll see whether Duff sticks with 2 strikers, we definitely more goals from midfield though.
Very talented player, it'll be interesting seeing how he sets the midfield up.

Two strikers can be very easy to play against unless you have a third man getting amongst or beyond them from midfield. Especially when they're expected to run the channels for direct balls.

This is what our box to box midfielder will be doing. Which Patino can play

Two strikers is easier to play against than one striker? Three strikers is harder to play against, but one is better.

You may need two.

Make sure the PH levels are right.

1. Patino
2. Humphreys

Don’t say I don’t give you anything.

There'll actually be grown up supporters on this site that believe that as well mind
