• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

And....number 4...🤣🤣🤣🤣

I'll take anything tonight, but this is rather amusing.

and...number 5 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

If only we had a player like Bannan instead of Grimes we might actually have a creative midfield ...

We lost to that shite too

That surely means Wednesday will do us by 6?

Some piss taking of us on their forum earlier seems to have gone quiet now.😄

Exactly. If Wednesday go down we should nab him. Grimes can naff off somewhere else.

I said it many times about Grimes he is not a captain and should never have the armband. He has an inability to get his team "up for it" - most of the blame will always lie with a manager but the captain should take some responsibility during the match and Grimes isn't - he is often MIA when things aren't going well.

And one thing is for certain he is another one who sits in the "not premier league quality" club

It's worse than that though, isn't it. Not only is he not captain material on the field, he can't control the game in midfield the way someone like Bannan does. They're both one-footed but Bannan's passing is so much crisper, it's a joy to watch. And guess what - when he passes the ball he moves into space to receive it back if needs be. Imagine that. Grimes' passing is slow and ponderous and his pass appreciation is really poor. I know Grimes breaks up play the way Bannan doesn't, but we've got others who could do that e.g. Fulton, Smith.

I can't disagree with much of that if any at all

We should have got Bannan when Leon retired, every time I see Wednesday play he's the stand out player for either side.
