Anyone cut the grass yet?

No, probably should, but probably wont, until next month anyway.👍

Can't wait to give the dog shit a first mow......

Cut my grass and my neighbours lawns yesterday, beautiful day for it (Neighbours are disabled and one side and the other side have two kids and working non stop so I don’t mind helping them out now i am retired.)

There are a few cats in the street who shit all over my garden which drives me mad as they have a habit of bing sneaky with it. I also got the leaf blower out and cleaned up the street at the same time, because i am a community minded person and the council find it ok to throw all the recycling all over the place but not send anyone around to sweep the streets.

All petrol powered stuff despite no maintenance everything started and ran great, love this time of year sun out with a chill to the air so you have to keep moving.

he council swept our road on Monday (at 7:30 am) - give us a chance to move the cars. Well done and all that but there are a good few who haven't left for work.
Talking about paying for grass to be cut, our neighbours have a cute little dog who they pay to have walked. They are in their 30's and she doesn't work. Too much money springs to mind

Why have a dog and not walk it? Surely the major benefit of a dog is going for a walk, getting some exercise, chatting to other dog owners, especially if you are not working a great way of clearing the mind and getting to know what’s going on out there..

It’s an odd position to take. I cannot always cut grass because of a sixty hour week, but owning a dog and having someone else walk it whilst not working, that’s bizarre.

Absolutely this, the very best part of owning a dog is walking it. Don't mind saying hello or even having a quick chat with other dog owners, but nothing beats being just you and dogo putting the world to rights.
Can't for the life of me understand anyone who owns a dog and moans about walking it or pays someone else to walk it for them (unless health issues prevent).
Also, in all my years of owning a dog I've never encountered so many aggressive dogs, its a case of unsuitable owners getting pets during lockdown and thinking it a good idea...

Almost all the people I know within about a mile radius of the house are dog owners because we see each other regularly with our dogs. It’s good exercise for me and gets me out which I probably wouldn’t do without my four legged mate.
