Purchasing a season ticket?
Yes, we all love the club.....supported us through thick n thin blah blah blah.
But after that shit show and subsequent comments from the powers that be post match....even I ( the most optimistic of us) am having serious doubts wether 300 plus bucks would have been better off elsewhere?

I'm hoping that Saturday was just a bad day in the office.
Always try to be optimistic.
Trouble is, we had too many of those last season and we haven't learnt from the mistakes.
Not learning from mistakes is personal choice.
To keep making the exact same mistakes hoping for a different outcome is just pure stupidity.

Normally I'd wait 10 games no matter the manager to make an assessment.
Against Blackburn, I just sat there stunned for about the last 20 mins.
Even thought about leaving early and hadn't had that thought since a 0-0 in the lower leagues (I think div 1) Oldham when they set up with 11 on the goal line.
Even Trunds couldn't find a way of breaking through.
Most of our players gave up.

No absolutely not. I will be there whatever. STID.

Nice positive response gents, and I honestly get it.
But am close to breaking point with this lot. Maybe it's my age and I'm a crochety old cvnt.

The think that makes it difficult is that we've seen in our recent history that we can do it but at the moment it feels a million miles away from that.

Can honestly say I've never based buying a season ticket on how well we're playing.

May be a different story in terms of how attached I feel to the club though.

No, its a bond between me and Swansea City AFC, the club I've supported through thick and thin since 1965 when my father, also a lifelong supporter, first took me to the Vetch when I was nine years old

It's not a bond between me and the owners, who I can't wait to see feck right off back to the good ole US of A, nor between me and Russell Martin, who I'm beginning to doubt big style. It's a bond between me and MY club, which will be there hopefully long after we've all seen the back of those individuals mentioned above.

Well put Pego...

Owners and Managers and players are transitory....the club however

A season ticket is a committment.
Most will have worked out finances in order to afford one .
I suppose at the moment some will wonder whether it's worthwhile, but the buzz when we start turning it around or have a new gaffer or signing makes it all worthwhile 🦢👍

Nope. It also gives me something other than politics to whine about and it’s still better than the bulk of my Swans watching life. Uppa Swans and Joey Allen

Me and the boys sit next to a nice lady who turns up on her own every week and when she sat down on Saturday she asked me if I was excited, which of course I was, and she made a comment about how I get more excited than boys and laughed. Then we played like a sack of sh!t. Next time I sit in my seat I’ll be just as excited as I was before the game on Saturday. Football does weird things to you.

We’ve all seen worse let’s be honest. Well those who have been around for longer than the last decade have anyway. And that’s not one of those tedious “where were you when we were shit” type superfan posts but it’s a fact that if you’re knocking 50 or older you’ve seen a lot worse than this. Not that this also means we should accept he current situation either.

I have, you’re right, but I’ve never been annoyed with the team for being shite before though. Even when losing two nil at home to Bury on a Thursdays night whilst getting relegated to the fourth division there was always hope. Now we are just hopeless.
