It's bugging me massively that we are being declared 'skint' by all and sundry when clubs worse off than us just seem happy to increase debt and we appear to be operating in a sensible and sustainable manner.

Yeah exactly, we can't spend money which we haven't got.

What I will say on the flip side to that though, is that Martin should be aware of that, if he's been given false promises etc, that's a seperate issue and could lead to a breakdown in relationship between him and board, similar to Cooper... I backed club all the way with that one, but if it happens again under Martin then questions will be asked.

Nobody is spending money in this league. We spent more than most in the summer, together with shelling out for Martin.

It looks like the contract trigger clause for O’Riley is £1.5m. Celtic have a great record for buying young players & selling on for big fees, van Dijk, Ki come to mind. Loan signings at this stage of the Martin reign seems short sighted even if it’s more affordable, it’s not as if we will buying Wolf if Monchengladbach paid £8m or whatever for him just recently. Just hope gets up to speed & does the business for us

Who is suggesting no loans?

We should be planning for next season & looking to build our squad. Bringing in Wolf may be a great move who knows. We ain’t getting promoted & he will move on to someone who can afford him at the end of the loan if he does well & we will still be looking to build a promotion challenging squad.

On the upside he might just save us from a relegation battle in which case it will be money well spent
