• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Neither club comes out of this looking good. Typical Cardiff behaviour from their fans, but close up on some of those roof tiles and you'll see how skanky they look and that wall needs a good clean. That bog was in dire need of a refurb before the scum turned up. Haven't seen worse bogs at a football ground since Chester circa 1988.

I wasn't involved you fool, and I quite rightly condemned the action in my post

Why the ‘we’ reference then?

Somebody who goes to a football match and sets fire to the opposition toilets should be locked up for 10 years never mind being referred to as ‘we’.

'We' as in, "we had a really good win yesterday" ... get it now??

Or shall I try again 🤔

Merthyr for a pre season friendly in the mid 2000's - the urinal was open air, a brick wall with a gutter at the bottom!

Yes, I get it.

That we is referring to the club, the other we appeared to mean you and others. The club didn’t set fire to the toilets, some imbeciles did.

Bristol City deserve everything they get for calling them Toliets.

Same kind of arrangement at Chester's old ground back in the 80s. Black paint on a brick wall hid all manner of sins back in the day! Maybe clubs should consider of reinstalling that kind of set-up just for Cardiff's visits. Let this serve as a warning for League 1 clubs of what to expect next season when the blue tits roll into town.

OK one last go...

The thread Ashton Gate Toilets.
In response to posters condemning ( and rightly so) the Cardiff morons for the vandalism of said toilets, I merely pointed out that our fans 'we' had caused similar damage to the lavatories at the Cardiff City Stadium, hence my "people in glasshouses" comment on my original post.
I would also like to add that I've never indulged in any sort of vandalism in my life.

Hope this clears things up 👍

Good.
I’m pleased to read that.

It would have been clearer from the outset if you had said some of our fans rather than we.
It’s like saying, we went out on the piss last night but I didn’t go. 👍

Just give them a trough, good enough for them

Upton Park back in the day the bog wall I was pissing up against came crashing down (not directly in front of me thank God) with fighting fans coming through it. Hit the floor carried on fighting. And people complain about the toilets today 😅

I agree with you Lifey. When I read his post, I clearly formed the view that he himself had been involved in the incident. If he were so appalled by it, he should have said something like "some of our fans" in order to distance himself from what happened.

Oh you do agree with liffy aye, there's a surprise

Well, I wasn't talking to you but since you asked your post said, and I quote

"I was at Legoland a few years ago whe we set the scum toilet alight, after ripping down every available movable part, glasshouses and stones lads, glasshouses and stones 👍"

Forgive me but where in those words do you condemn the actions of those involved? In fact, you seem to be revelling in it, and you know it. You've dug yourself into a hole fella.
