With Drakeford apparently not making an announcement regarding crowds in our grounds etc till first week in August...and our first home game in 14th, my question is....if all season ticket holders wont get in( cos of limited capacity) then its gonna be carnage for the club to arrange a lottery type system to see who gets in in such short notice??
Shirley there cannot now be any limitations on getting 15k plus in?
With 140k at the Grand Prix...the Wembley crowds etc. Am getting twitchy that we may miss out.....despite Cooperball, have so missed going there.

Surely if deaths and hospital rates ain’t rising massively by the August review date then we will be on for full capacity, imagine us Cardiff Newport and Wrexham the only teams in the EFL with limited capacities and no away fans.

Green Man festival in Wales has been given the green light for August 25,000 capacity and people are actually crammed together in a field for that, so surely he will give full capacity to us.

I know its not us but remember welsh league football players are still having to change in car parks and in the stands with no showering after the match allowed either and its July 19th and their season started last weekend

140k watched the Grand Prix yesterday.

It was a test event. Why are people still struggling with that concept? Ah but they were all in Wimbledon / Euro final etc etc.

Anyway, I'd imagine that we will all be allowed in when the season kicks off, providing there isn't a massive spike in new cases. In Drakers we trust. How many ST holders this year anyway? 8k? 9k? 10k?

I’m sure the official site said 13-14,000 season tickets were sold.

Fair play, that's a superb take up.

I was speaking to a ST holder the other day (in his 70's) - he was saying he was giving a few months before he was going to attend games. I presumed he meant due to Covid, but on reflection maybe he was hoping Cooper would be on his bike...

What concept are people struggling with?

There is absolutely going to be a massive spike in new cases... hospitalisation will be the major driver, low hospitalisation rate, then it will be crack on, providing the game can be policed and stewarded (isolation/track and trace issues)

And if Lord Drakeford keeps crowds to 10k, there will be meltdown, especially with the derby early on this year.

Green Man 2021 20,000 over 4 days with 15 stages (most outdoors) across 20,000 acres
Liberty site 21,000 for 2 hours in a site that is 6.5 acres.
Not quite the same.
I thought far fewer ST had been sold …. Don’t know why though.

I believe it is 14k ?

You're a bit behind here. The restrictions on crowds and the requirement to have social distancing outside were scrapped by Drakeford from last Saturday. The only instance where the rules differ to England is the need I presume to wear a mask in the concourse unless it's considered a bar which are exempt from the requirement to wear a mask. The announcement was made last Wednesday and the change confirmed by the FAW on Friday on their website and on social media.

Keep up mun!
