• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I thought they were skint, they're not doing to bad living on the breadline with the players they have and are signing, FFPR are a fuking joke fair play hammer the smaller clubs and take little notice of bigger clubs its a disgusting corrupt fuking joke

Their hoping to get the European League back up and running and there’s a court case soon. Apparently their mortgaging something like 25% of their TV money for the next 20 years for a chunk of upfront dosh.

They’ve been woefully run and wasted huge money on players who simply weren’t the money they were paying out, they should bite the bullet, sell their players and reset using the talent in their academy.

I wouldn't worry chaps, there's bigger clubs around....our cousins up the road for one.

Bartomeau was the culprit. Signing crap like Lenglet on 6 year contracts and giving them 230k a week.

They have cut everyone's wages and using the transfer money the have from recent outgoings plus some of the 200m from the first financial lever, Xavi has been bringing in kids from their academy la masia and plans to do so in the future, but the team was left woefully short in many areas after the Setien / Koeman disaster.
