• We have today (22nd April) confirmed the closure of JackArmy.net on 31st May. Our reasons are varied but after a twenty-five year stint at the heart of the online Swansea City community, the time is right for us to bow out.

Anywhere between Swansea and Ammanford

Go...

The Bird In Hand, Fforest.

A little off the beaten track, for us at least, but had an excellent carvery there in late November.

The Bridge in Llangennech is rated very highly, we went there last September and had a really nice meal, but it was really really busy so much so that it spoilt our experience. Not been to the Bird in Hand, but a mate of mine went there the other day and said it was very good.

Valans in Llandybie was very good the last time I went, it’s a smallish place so may be booked up.

Gilligans on Eversley Rd Sketty virtually opposite Slice is supposed to be very nice

The Toby cavery gets a lot of stick, but I've never had a bad dinner from there, but as Swansjax says, the Eagle is really nice, and their other food is also cracking.. the roma chippy as clase says, you won't get better for 9.99

We like The Bridge, but based on our experience, I’d also drive passed it to get the The Bird.
