• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Been away on holiday for a while, not even looking at horses so today's is

15:55 Carlisle - Yealand 7/2

Aintree tomorrow chaps. Woohoo is a solid pick for the Aintree Hurdle if you don’t fancy Constitution Hill to remember how to jump or Lossiemouth to take him. Not much each way chance at two places though. An extra half mile on Constitution Hill’s preferred distance as well, although he’s won this before of course. Happy punting wherever your money is going. Big one 4pm Saturday.

Interesting race that’s for sure, I fancy Constitution Hill, well I’ve included the horse in my treble. For the Grand National I’m going for Stumptown.

If James Bowen was on top and not NDB, then I'd be all over it. De Bonville is ruining the horse, all eyes on him today.

Jackie Hobbs in the 5.15 ew @ 7/1 for me.

NDB, absolutely awful again.
Gutted for the horse as he's not being given the best opportunity.
As for Henderson, he's one arrogant shit.

Didn't do it based on his last outing with the horse, had no confidence in the jockey.

If they take him to Punchestown , NDB shouldn't be allowed anywhere near the place. All social media will say the same, yet Henderson and the owner can't see it.
Incredible.

NDB should be binned. That was an absolutely abysmal ride. He thinks the horse can work miracles but he’s got to be given a chance by the fella sitting on his back.

Some racehorses are staying in a stable. One of them starts to boast about his track record. “In the last 15 races, I’ve won eight of them!”

Another horse breaks in: “Well in the last 27 races, I’ve won 19!”

“Oh that’s good, but in the last 36 races, I’ve won 28!” says another.

At this point, the horses notice a greyhound, who has been sitting there listening. “I don’t mean to boast,” says the greyhound, “but in my last 90 races, I’ve won 88 of them!”

The horses are clearly amazed. “Wow!” says one, after a hushed silence. “A talking dog!”

Think this picture sums it up. Henderson whittering on about Constitution being unbeaten in every race he finished in (!), Michael Buckley looking p1ssed off and in the background a Horse Ambulance.

I genuinely think CH was the best hurdler of his generation until this year, but the warning signs are there and he's had 3 lucky escapes in succession. For God's sake let the horse retire and preserve him.

Lovely to see Lossiemouth win as she's a genuine top class hurdler.

Next year's Champion Hurdle will be between Lossiemouth and The New Lion.
