His novelty factor is bigger than his list of honours. The inability to communicate in English surely has a negative influence on performance.

Some of our get sucked in by the nonsense though, hang on things like "so and so manager/player, reckons he's one of the best in the world".

Speaks good English by all accounts, lives over a chippy loves a pint in the local and the fans love him according to someone who used to play for us.
