• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

We won't win against Blackpool. Can we get to 2 wins in 23? That would be half a season with 2 wins.

I've just listened to RM's post match interview, and it was much as I'd expected, a re-run of most games.

One thing, he was asked about Sheff Utd, and apart from the comment about them being more experienced against our young team he emphasised that they played on the front foot. Now it's not new and not rocket science but it is totally lacking in our game all parts of the team.

Blackpool is a must game, obviously for 3 points but more importantly the bad run must end.

Looking at our home games we must target

Blackpool
Stoke
Rotherham
Coventry
Preston
Huddersfield

We need 4 wins and 2 draws

Away

Cardiff
Wigan
Hull

We need 2 wins and a draw

That will give us 60 and a mid table finish

Anything less and we put even more pressure on the team.

Going back to his comment about Sheff Utd being more experienced and us keep making basic mistakes.

When will he hold his hand up to the opinion we don't have the players to play his style, and that the 'process' must be put on hold until players are/if available.

We are short of maybe 4 team players in key areas, as well as some more solid back up squad players. This won't be sorted in the summer, so how long can a process take?

Even a win v Blackpool and a rousing fist pump won't do it for me.
Yer a nice guy n all that Russ, but frankly pal we've had a titfull. Anyone singing yer name Wednesday night can fck off with you far as I'm concerned. Been following us over 40 yrs and you have sucked all the fun out of going.
We'll be there cos it's a duty I guess.
Just go now yeah....enough is enough.

50 points will be fine

Seems like a million miles away at the moment though

People assuming we will be winning games rather than simply having better possession stats.
A new coach to abandon this nonsense .

I should wait until after tonight's game, but yes 50 is normally safe, but let's target those games and then pick some bonus points in the others
;)

I’d be gobsmacked if we get 6 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss from 9 games, whoever opponents are. And it would be completely unrealistic for him to be sacked if we didn’t.

We are at least 4 decent players short, agreed there. I can’t see them coming in though, not under these owners. I’m resigned to us scraping by and making do until the Americans feck off and we get some decent owners (who the manager is during that time isn’t going to make much difference).

Honestly I would still say bust based on the performance.
First half we were good but wasteful, second half we still almost blew it against 10 men bottom of the league.
