Shocked to hear this didn't he post on the site a few days ago?

RIP
Yes, he posted on Saturday on Ringwood's thread about bass guitars, being interested in music related threads, I was only reading that one earlier this morning before I was aware of Blaze's sad demise.

I won’t swear on this thread, but to say that is a gobsmacker is an understatement.

My best memory of him was when he went off driving in his car across Europe to watch some preseason games.

RIP Blaze YJB

😞

I’m really struggling to process this,I’ve cried all day.
When I was first made aware of something early this morning from a poster on here whose username I’d never seen before I texted Blaze immediately, that’s how confused I was, when I checked the username I could see they’d been a member and obviously a long time reader for the last five years and it started to become real.
Blaze was here two weeks ago,he’d had an office/shed thingy built in his garden and as a lot of you know he’d invested in a laser cutter,he contacted me and asked what teams my grandsons played for and he made some amazing plaques for each of them. My youngest grandson took his to training and all the other kids wanted one so my daughter in law collected all the money in and ordered a load,Blaze was landed.
Then two weeks ago he texted me and asked if he could drop the order in here so my daughter in law could pick them up.
He looked great,he’d lost a little weight and Jocelyn and I told him so,he was happy and Jocelyn pulled all the artwork for the exhibition out and he loved it,we had a great chat and he asked questions about the exhibition and artists
Often with having a spare season ticket I’d ask him to come to the football but he’d leave it until it was too late like lunch time to do anything about it and text me to say he wasn’t up to it and wouldn’t be able to make it.
One day last week he texted me saying he had a few things going on in his head and he wouldn’t be able to come to the exhibition,I texted him back saying something like “nah I’m not having that the exhibition isn’t until Saturday and you’re coming if I’ve got to come and drag you there.”
Later on he texted me back saying (and most of you know the way I speak to people) “thanks for talking to me I’ll definitely be at the exhibition now but you can fuck off though I’m coming to support Jocelyn because she’s worked so hard, you’re a good pal.”

So we were then meeting in Neath on Saturday and as we both don’t drink I was taking him for a coffee in the Ukrainian cafe.
Now we aren’t meeting in Neath on Saturday.

I’ve lost people in the past (parents etc.) but I’ve never felt like this,I am absolutely devastated. 😢😢😢

I am in bits.
I didn’t think it was possible to cry so much.
I am devastated.
Sleep tight my beautiful friend I love you and I’ll love you forever. ♥️♥️♥️
Oh dear dear me, what a shock. RIP BLAZE. Condolences to his family and friends.

I’m sure I remember him making a sign or something to stick on that car for his journey 🤣

We went to so many away games together I lost count.
When
I’m sure I remember him making a sign or something to stick on that car for his journey 🤣

He brought it with him to a game we went to up north, his old man was a taxi driver and it was one of these below but he’d taken the TAXI off and put SCFC instead.
It was daylight going up and I didn’t know he had it,it was dark leaving the ground and he pulled it out of his bag and said “put this on the roof Dar,I had a BMW X5 at the time and a wire came in through the window and plugged into the fag lighter and it lit up on the roof.
We were pissing ourselves coming down the M6/M5. 😂

I am stunned to read this news.
I met James through posting on here about having fans accompany me on away games pre promotion to the Premier League. We met up,plus two other fans, and attended many away games together sharing each other’s vehicle to do so.
We lost touch over the past few years but I have happy memories of the games we attended together.
R.I.P Blaze.

Totally shocked by this, I only met him the once, nice lad I met him through Dai a power lifter who used post on here he was a mod at one time.

RIP James, Godspeed.

Terrible news. We never met but following posts on this forum leads you to think you know the person. He came across as a talented and lovely guy. My condolences to everyone who knew him. RIP YJB.
