• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Back on topic, and just to p*ss you all off, I think the unusal crap weather we've had here for weeks is finally over.
It was 23C and sunny here today, and more is forecast, with temperatures rising to 27/28C later this week.
Me and Mrs Pego have a hard day's cleaning planned tomorrow, washing down all the exterior black railings around the house and mopping down the terraces ready for summer. They're all covered with beige Arabian sand at the moment. Bought some massive terracotta pots yesterday ready for some tropical plants around the pool. Whoopie!

Oh I dunno about being pìssed off, myself and Mrs SJ have had a lovely day, we walked our two dogs down Oxwich, lovely it was too, got home, had a spot of lunch, then spent some time in the garden getting things ready for when it gets warmer.

Glad you had 23c today, and I bet your black exterior railings and terracotta pots look lovely, but give me my pretty, shitty, city over yours anytime 😊
