The kid is undoubtedly talented. Always been highly rated as a kid and it was proven at his time with Swindon. Hate the fact he was made to be scapegoat at the start of the season when he was asked to play some suicide football.

He's got a presence about him and with time and a lot of confidence which let's be honest is key as a keeper he could be a success. I do feel for Fisher he's come in and looks all over the shop (like the team currently). Woodman was a prime example, a decent goalkeeper but made much easier with a solid foundation infront of him under Cooper. I suppose you are only as good as the defence in front of you.

Brilliant display last night.
Out of him, Hamer and Fisher he is the best showstopper.
Not sure Hamer or Fisher are up to the same standard.
All three look uncomfortable with the suicidal football we are currently playing.
I am all for passing the ball around and playing good football but not currently working

He should have been backed and not loaned out. Scouted by Tremmel wasn't he? I'd wager that good old Gerhard was a better judge of goalkeepers than Martin.

Have never understood him getting shafted. Thought he did well all things considered.

He made a few errors with his feet, but who didn’t? That’s what he was being asked to do.

I think it would be a massive error to let him go.

Benda has proved he is a decent shot stopper but far better keepers than him have been instructed to play out from the back and been found wanting. It's not something you can instantly do well just because someone says you have to do it and not all keepers will adapt at the same rate. If you want to get the best out of your keeper, don't ask him to do things he's not very good at until he's ready.
