• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

It is thought the toddler, who has been described as the "light of his dad's eye", starved to death after Kenneth had a heart attack.

F@ck me. Heartbreaking.

That is such dreadful news, shouldn’t happen in this day and age.

You have to feel for that social worker who did everything they could, back in the day the police would have broken in but these days they seem to ignore missing persons or social services calls for concern.

Issue like this , Social Sevices tried their best with home visits , no response what can they do .

Rules and Regs , Plod cannot barge in without proper paperwork and evidence , awful result now for all concerned , tragic .

Spare a thought for the case worker , horrendous situation to now deal with , underpaid and also undermanned stuck in that spotlight , let us hope they have support from their bosses .

RIP the Two of them , there seemed a special bond .

At least 3 telephone calls to the police, and then they only turned up approx 7 days after the first call - when the bodies had been found!!
