• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I'm calling it: Burgess is awful, a liability, and has cost us at least 10 points this season with his blunders. He can't even do the basics right.
So, that’s 10 pts he’s cost us at the back.
If you add the loss of points that Ronald McDonald has cost us up the other end, by just being useless, you start to understand why we are heading for mid table obscurity.
Just what does Matos sees in him is baffling.
Our lack of squad depth for covering both injuries and lack of form this season, probably accounts for a lot of our “We played well for 45 minutes” scenarios.
Next season we need a “proper winger” that can get past his man, and a ball playing central defender, end of.

It’s pretty obvious even to a casual fan what Matos sees in Ronnie. Whether fans agree with it is another thing altogether.

All I can say to that is, it’s pretty obvious to the casual fan, that he’s a waste of a shirt as a so called winger.

I would like to see a switch between Key and Ronald: the first has a better attacking sense\crosses and the latter has the pace to chase the opposing winger.
