• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I agree Phil.

Though can’t find his actual tweet, just that West Ham one which uses him as a source. Unless he uses other platforms.

There was some stuff in the press last summer linking Cabango it’s West Ham, but it went quiet.

Williams was poor in his cameo last week, certainly didn’t look like an up and coming Liverpool star and it may be he is here for the season with no return option. With games now playing behind closed doors and income down, the club may see a sale as a means of generating some income. Cabango is 21 and I’d have thought a loan is more likely than a sale, but who knows.

Exactly. I think it's made up and they've used Romano's name.

Prosser being mischievous, he's got previous.

.

Precisely what we need, given the Fisher catch.

We need a proper Libero to work in tandem with our clever ball playing GK. Cabango is thus superfluous in Martin's grand scheme.

Let's hope we land that Libero......and if the rumours are to be believed..........

Not against the move at all tbh, but am I the only one that thinks 4m is a bit cheap? Considering he’s played a fair few games over the last 2 seasons and is an international.

Hasn't he just. In so many previous, current devious ways.

The seemingly cunning fella ain't as cunning as he hopes. And fears.

What goes around comes around, always.

Romano is reliable, he only talks about a deal if it's more or less done.

However, I've not seen him say or tweet anything on Cabango - there's nothing about it on any of his feeds. All that seems to be linking this is a foreign West Ham account with no followers have said he's joining, and have credited Fabrizio Romano.

I think Cabango is a decent player, but I don't think he's good enough to play in the Premier League so I'd be surprised if West Ham were in for him and if there was anything in this.

Think it's made up though

This tweet has pretty much been dismissed. Although it is interesting that something similar was heard yesterday evening from two people around the same thing and someone else mentioned a potential sale to me on Sunday.

What does seem certain is that the journalist in question is not one of them though and that (for me) is what would have given it more credit.

Your first line is spot on and when he speaks people generally listen.

However, it does look like he didn't actually say it - or if he did then he said it out of a public place (but like invites to garden parties at No 10  )- its more than just a West Ham account for certain (SI referenced that as well-linked to it above) but there does seem to be some fun and games going on somewhere. The question appears to be where

So our major problem at the moment is defence and potentially we might be weakening it further by selling cabango and replacing him with Williams. If this happens then wow.
