• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

The amount of reform supporters in denial about being massive racists is unreal. But racism is acceptable these days.
The bigger problem for me is that we seem to have reached a point in time where it is apparently unacceptable to label a racist a racist. The labeller is usually the one in the wrong.

Yes I agree. The racists have “reclaimed” the word and now wear it as a badge of honour. See also “far right”. They’re proud of it now.

Highlighted by Chris Philp’s interview on the BBC just now. He couldn’t even bring himself to say it was a racist comment.

That’s not to say that every person who’s made a racist comment or joke has deep rooted racist beliefs but if we’ve reached the stage where we have to say “that’s not language I would use” compared to “that’s a racist comment and needs to be challenged” then we’ve regressed as a society IMO.

Philp has now finally come out and called it racist, but only at the sixth time of asking, and only after checking that other prominent politicians had called it racist first... "Oops, I'd better do the same then" 🤣

The Philps of this world are utterly shameless. They'll change their position on something every 5 minutes as long as it's politically expedient.

Will we see all those righteous flag wavers march in condemnation of this?

Come on mun you’re using the rape of a young woman for point scoring you’re better than that my friend.
Oh and I tend to think most middle aged white men would want kill the the piece of scum myself.

I agree. Rapists are the lowest of the low, even with the Patriot knuckle-draggers.

He makes a valid point whether your current twisted mindset wants to accept it or not.

I think we've definitely jumped the shark when a black MP is threatened with expulsion from the Commons for correctly labelling another MP, who made a racist comment about black people, a racist.

The Deputy Speaker who presided over this nonsense should be deeply ashamed of herself.

The conventions around what can and can’t be said in Parliament are ridiculously antiquated and not for for the modern world.

Diane Abbott has made several statements in the House that could be described as racist.

So has Dawn Butler...

But that's ok because they is black innit..?

This race baiting bollocks has to be nipped in the bud and parameters set or not at all...

Sword of Damocles...

I do have sympathy for this opinion actually.

They are not helpful to their cause. Both those politicians are divisive.
