• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

None of the eleven that start or nine warming the bench for Burnley tonight against Cardiff were involved in their Premier League game against Forest last Saturday. That's how seriously the top table takes this competition.
I've never understood why clubs don't take this competition seriously. It's the only opportunity of a winning a trophy for a lot of them.

Just look at what winning the competition did for us.

Anyone else willing to admit Cardiff look a good side tonight. Deserved lead at Burnley.. Slick passing and aggressive attacks. Lots of pace wide. Their defence hasn’t been pressured yet.

Against probably not even Burnley's U21 side.
Bit of perspective... But yes so one sided.

Just describing what I’m watching Jaxs. They are away at a PL team and have played them off the park so far. I’ve no idea how good or bad the Burnley team are. I’m expecting a reaction from them.

Agree, it's all going one way at the moment, feel sorry for the home fans that have paid out and taken the trouble to support not even a reserve side in a major cup competition Mon 👍

No definitely not. Deserved it might be but they’re playing against a makeshift side and lost at home to Bradford at the weekend. At least Forest’s new trainer had a point to prove. Let’s draw them in the next round.

Edit: In other news Lincoln are beating Chelsea.

I should have said ‘look a good side tonight’. I was describing what I was seeing, not really going for a prognosis on their season.

That said, it could easily have been 2-2.
