• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Can someone please define what the difference is between players actually throwing a game and playing badly?

If we kept them up it gives us a nice stick to beat them with.
We kept them up when we got promoted at Preston.

I remember it never crossing my mind that day in the lead up, at the game, or on the way back to Swansea bus station. We give them far too much attention these days.

How can the fans celebrating them being relegated be wrong?
We've had shit to celebrate for so long.
The players would never celebrate losing, that is so naive to suggest.
Scoring 2 or 3 own goals would be the only obvious way you'd know.
Or...kicking a clear open goal opportunity from 5 yards over the bar.

No, what we are discussing regards losing a game we went out to win.....they would still think we did it on purpose.

That would create a good discussion.
Why would it make a good discussion? Who cares.....

Fuxk em, they'd lose if was the other way around.

Fuck em again

I'd want Oxford to win if it came to it and I'd be absolutely loving the outpouring of anger and grief coming out of East Wales.

I'd genuinely have no trouble sleeping that night.

Cos there was a truck load of jeopardy involved for us.
Hardly the same scenario.

Let me get this straight, some people think, hope we're going to throw our last game of the season to a team that are currently three points better off than Cardiff.

Honestly some people on here think that lot up the road are obsessed with us.

I hope Charlotte Church's new forest retreat burns down! I'm not obsessed with everything Cardiff though...
