• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Good point..

Do we want Plymouth winning?

Lets see the results tonight. IF Stoke, Hull, Derby and Cardiff all win, as unlikely that they will, it would leave us 4 points above the drop zone.

While we aren't 'safe' yet, I think we're 'safe enough' to want some teams around Cardiff picking up points.

So according to the recent logic..is 51 or 52 points the new safety target?

Still think Cardiff will be fine. They’ll get two or three spawny 1-0 or late 2-1s, probably unexpectedly (like at Blackburn) and be at 49 or 50 by the end which will see them safe. They do it every year when the chips are down. So for us it’s about seeing what Sheezy and the team is made of. Can we win 4 against poor teams (Hull, Plymouth, Oxo, QPR) and get to 60?

Course they will be. The human race would be on the edge of extinction due to nuclear war and they'd still be at a derelict Legoland trying to scrape a 0-0 against no opposition.

Might be different this year Mon, they are usually out of the brown stuff by now

Especially as the teams around them have started getting results, some unexpected ones too such as Plymouth beating Norwich and Oxford beating Sheff Utd, even Hull winning at Sheffield Wed, while they struggled and managed to get a point against a failing QPR team, who had 8 first team players out, including their entire front line, leading to their manager applauding the fact the kept a clean sheet against a team with no strikers.

If Cardiff lose tonight and Luton, Derby and Oxford win this week, them with Stokes run in may be a shoot out between them to stay up.

It's irrelevant to us who we play when considering Cardiff's position in the league. We always play to beat the opposition and anything else is a loser's mentality. If they go down then it's on them, we beat Derby on Saturday and they didn't capitalise on that against a depleted QPR team.

They beat Stoke and Oxford and stay up I reckon.

Blackburn losing at home again, they've fallen apart completely since Eustace left. They're lucky they were in a good spot when he left as they would def be on the way down if they started their slump half way down the league
