• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Got my little bet for the weekend all the matches below will end in draws.. what's the chances?

Pompey v Derby
Cardiff v Stoke
Luton v Blackburn
Sheff Wed v Oxford
You just know every one of those games will be utter dross to watch.

Stoke are proof that just having owners who are willing to pump huge amounts of money into the club is no guarantee of success in this division. I believe they sail close to the wind on PSR every season, yet they could be relegated.

Granted money can get you far but unless the club is being run on all levels with same objectives and we'll managed, putting money into clubs means 0. Just look at Leciester and many others. Clear vision, and goals. I am hopeful after turbulent year + we can start kicking on now ourselves with new direction. At least irrelevant of if we agree or disagree with cuts being made at our club, it seems for first time in a long time we have a group who knows more than Coleman. Who practically thought he could do every job.

Stoke are a basket case of club when it comes to chasing the Premier League dream. I don't agree with how the family makes it's money, the fact they struggle to finish in the top ten each year makes me smile.

The likes of Ipswich should be the benchmark when it comes to striking the winning formula.

Blades have collapsed big time in the past fortnight
3 defeats on the spin
I can't see then catching up to Leeds and Burnley now with just 4 games to play

Falling apart again?
Hopefully.

Bored to death with the likes Sheff Utd, Burnley getting promoted every other season and then getting relegated without much of a fight.

Let's hope another team can get the third promotion spot and give staying in the league a better go.
