• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

To be honest, I’m a little shocked and quite disappointed at some of the sentiments expressed on this thread.

The Cardiff fans are just like us, only 40 miles away. Welsh supporters that have put up with an awful lot of crap thrown in their direction for years. They will be hurting tonight. And all we can do is have a bit of a laugh at their expense.

Why on earth are we not having a MASSIVE laugh at their expense.
Naughty, naughty, Lisa! 😂😂

We and the Cardiff fans are identical. No religious differences. No class differences. Both blue-collar working class cities. And, by the way, I slice my eggs on the narrow end, and anyone who does it on the other end can F... Off! (You know who you are.)

No, we are not.

I've never met a Swansea fan, not even when we were in the PL and winning the League Cup, who thought we were doing anything other than punching well above our weight. As a fanbase we do, generally, know our place in the food chain. All we ask is to watch some decent football.

That lot? They honestly believe that they're a spark away from exploding into the next big thing in football. Despite all the evidence to the contrary. They're mental, they're delusional.

The difference couldn't more pronounced.

That's right, even a few weeks ago they were thinking they could still make the play offs and have the squad to take them back where they think they should be, but then again they do have the squad that took them to where they should be :)

If you can find it, watch the footage from after they beat us 3-0. You'd think they won the Premier League. Its funnier now than it was then.

Probably the most insulting, cretinous comparison I've ever read.
Get a grip Glyn FFS.

Sorry Glyn but I've only got five fingers and no sister, so I'm not the same as them mate.

Ramsey said after yesterday in his pitch for manager that they have a squad that should be at the top of the championship. They are diseased.

Edit: I see it’s quoted in Ave a tomato’s nonsense above.

Ave a tomato will probably still tip that lot to finish above us next season. What a gold plated quim.

Oxford could be our new rivals next season distance wise or West Brom if Brizzle go up
