• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I hope Jason Mohammed is Ok.
Although there will be thousands of bluebirds fans upset.
If they look at the bigger picture there will 10s of thousands who it brings happines to.

What'll happen to them for international periods now?

Have they got enough internationals to ask for their League One games to be called off?

Or will they have to suffer the indignity of playing on the same day as Wales, and Wales having to move their qualifiers to a different stadium because Cardiff and Wales can't both play there at the same time?

Hilarious and great point. What a CAPITAL club.

They will probably get the clashing game postponed based on the number of under 21s they'll have in the u21 squad (if they're playing in the same week).

Mohammed is a Spurs fan when it suits ... not sure which is actually worse 😁

Hmm. Fair point. Possibly then. Although if they have enough senior players to fulfil a fixture, then it'll be interesting to see what happens.

So PSR doesn't apply in league 1, so in theory Cardiff could spend millions irrespective of the finaniak shit they are in?

Why wasn't Ash jumping up and down celebrating instead of pearl clutching unless he's sold his soul to bbc cardiff

I thought it was pretty clear Ash was loving it and that he and Given were having a good laugh at Mohammad's expense when the cameras weren't on them. Would be unprofessional for Ash to be jumping up and down, plus it was funnier this way. That deadpan 'bad for Welsh football' while trying so hard not to smile was class.

One of the rules in League 1 is you can only spend 60% of your income on wages. Last accounts their income was approx 23 and wages 22 so. However I believe they can be invested in as long as its equity so Tan's gonna have to get his check book out. No interest free loan this time.

btw last time they were in the third tier was 40 years..
