• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Unstoppable free kick from some distance for their second. First goal was some sloppy defending between Faakye and McFayden letting Crole have all the time and space he needed. Strikers have been quiet. Wilson not in the game at all and Fletcher only a couple of times when dropping deep. Needs to work on his heading, fluffed two decent chances in the air.

Smith's quality clear. Congreve and Jones having decent games. Been sloppy otherwise and a few look to be losing their heads a bit.

Disappointing scoreline. Put them under pressure for some long periods but lacking conviction in the area. A couple of routine saves and one goalline clearance after a set piece. They defended well.

Mitchell only had one save to make the second half. Their third was again unstoppable. Best I've seen the younger Colwill play, always looked a headless chicken swapping Rubin's technical quality for pure grafting before. Adding some great touches to his game.

Eye opening game. Only one anywhere near first team on that showing is Liam Smith.

Older one seemed to not kick on. Scummers raved about him but hasn't been fancied by any manager really and only gets given twenty minutes or so a week. Approaching 22 now I think to.

Was a strange call up for wales mind you - never seen anything in him really so suggest he's above mid table champ and from their forums it looks like the fans are saying the same now

Mid-table Championship has been good enough for Wales for quite some time. Levitt, Morrell and Matt Smith all made that squad as well.

He's still younger than fellow Neath boy Connor Roberts was when he established himself for us. DJ and Rodon turned 21 at the start of their breakthrough seasons as well. Give the lads time.
