• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Bit harsh with the "struggling ", maybe mid table side malc 😃

Interesting that Rushworth is in the list. As we know from his time with us, he is a very good goalkeeper.
But would you now swap Vigs for him? I wouldn’t.
That’s no disrespect to Rushworth, just a statement on how good Vigs is. He’s been a phenomenal find.

Agree Rushworth is a good keeper ,
Coventry tried to buy him last summer offered £6 million , Brighton wanted £10 m

Vigs is a top keeper i wouldnt swap him for any other keeper .
Who ever scouted him did brilliant to bring him to Swansea .

If anyone doesn't know the Benjamin Bloom channel on YouTube, I definitely recommend that you try it. He analysed the contenders yesterday.

Think this likely goes to Hackney or Azeez, but great to see Vip nominated. I think it's likely he's seen as too limited a player to win POTS, especially considering how consistently excellent Hackney has been for about two and a half years, but I'm happy to be surprised

Being top scorer in the league cancels out any perceived limitations he may have. He’s employed to put the ball in the onion bag, which has done better than anyone else in the league, top of class.

Hackney may have been very good for two years but this award is for one season.

I don’t expect he will win it, but he should be judged on his role and achievements.

Vp for me to score 20+ goals in a mid table team is a great achievement .

Azeez to go up a League to have those numbers is excellent .
I did say sometime last season keep an eye on him at Reading .
