Russell Martin will make changes to avoid fatigue over the Easter weekend double header which starts today against Barnsley. His team then head to Reading on Monday so rotation will be needed in order to keep the team fresh in the space of three days. The full squad is available although Flynn Downes...

And this is what grips my shit. Constantly talking of rebuilding and the process.
Then the next breath we talk about players leaving.
Someone tell me how the fck are we supposed to progress with the 'process ' when all we will see is fresh faces every year.
Bit of continuity once in a while and just maybe we'll stand a chance.

Rant over.

I think its more towards players that don't really feature and players that are out on loan, although I'd expect 1 or 2 even 3 players from first team/squad maybe go, for one reason or another, Wolfie's loan ends although its rumoured that another season's loan could happen, Christie will he stay? Piroe and or Downes will anyone come in for them etc.
Its where we are as a Club right now. IMO

Progress comes in the form of moving the likes of Dhanda and Smith on to pastures new. I’ve got no problem with this type of comment from RM, it’s a positive that he’s engaging with squad players and not freezing them out.

Good news, move out the stale players and bring in fresh hungry ones. What's not to like.

Evolution of a football team.

I fully get/understand that the dead wood are moved on, my point is the getting shot of the better players. If Piroe/Paterson/Wolfie/Cabango/Christie are gone....then this 'process ' is fckd.

Think if we moved on Dhanda and Smith for Joe Allen it would be fantastic business.

Martin will choose the players he wants to move on & I'm sure Bennett will be one of them but whether we can get rid of him on his ridiculous wage I'm not sure.
The recruitment team needs to be on the ball because we're likely to lose at least 1 of our best players, that'll be key.

Yes, I get where you’re coming from. Unfortunately for us, a club of our standing, the talent conveyor belt is also part of the process. We need to find a talent and then move them on in order just to stand still.
