Afternoon gents. As some of you know, I’ve recently started up a local senior league side. Our first friendly is on the 1st July against my good friends at Blaen-y-maes Fc.
Due to the recent tragic news of a young local lad named Lewis who sadly passed away just a few days ago, we have decided to use the match to raise money for Lewis’s family to use as they see fit. BYM Fc have been in contact with Swansea council about cutting and marking the pitch at Cadle Mill (behind the shops in BYM) as that’s where the family are from, and would draw a huge crowd thus raising a lot more money. As far as I have been told, Swansea council have refused the request so we are currently looking for a new location.
Does anyone have any ideas on an ideal location for this match? Any help would be appreciated
