• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Fuck you then, you wont be getting anymore advice from me 😉👍

Been doing a little research today and taken a liking to the miniature Schnauzer. It ticks most the boxes for me, expect they're selling for between £2 - £3k which rules me out. How much was your Cockapoo?

I'm looking over the Many Tears rescue website at the moment

My baby boy cost me £1250 almost 3 years ago, the same place are selling them for over 3k.

If I was going to get another one tomorrow i would have a look at rescue centres or wait a few months until the people who realise they made a mistake in buying a dog for covid look to sell.

Well done for looking at a rescue site, mate.

It was Chester’s first birthday today.👍

Beautiful dog.

We used to have a Welsh Springer beautiful dog but nuts, however he also loved a good pose for the camera, usually because he was staring away at a bird in the distance.

I’ve had a few Welsh Springers over the years, the last dog we had was a cross with a Welsh Springer and a Red Setter, he was totally bonkers but a cracking dog.
I take Chester out every day he is full of energy and loves the water, he’s a natural hunter and also loves the birds, I’m attempting to train him to leave them alone..it’s not easy but there’s still plenty of time.

Wants to wish you all a happy Christmas.

Got some sad news to report about Chester.

We have had to return him to the breeder we bought him from. It turned out that Chester could not be trusted around children. We tried all we could to rectify this but things only got more difficult.

Absolutely gutted.

I'm very sorry to read this. That decision, plus the kerfuffle that led to it, must have been heart-wrenching.

Sorry to read this that must have been a desperately hard decision to make :(

I've looked into hypoallergenic breeds but there seems to be a strong correlation between dogs who don't moult and dogs who'd look good perched in your hairdressers handbag. No offense lads, I'm sure your little darlings look absolutely fab-u-lous

If you want a larger dog that doesn't moult, then think about an Irish Water Spaniel (see my photo). They are the largest of the spaniels so may be too big though.

We fancy a Wowzer (spelling?). Welsh terrier Schnauzer cross.

Sorry to hear about Chester Lifey. Dreadful.
