• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Tough day for you, sorry mate, at least memories can't be taken away. Take it easy. ATB.

Poor Chester. He’s such a beautiful dog. He must be wondering what he’s done wrong.

Got some sad news to report about Chester.

We have had to return him to the breeder we bought him from. It turned out that Chester could not be trusted around children. We tried all we could to rectify this but things only got more difficult.

Absolutely gutted.

Sorry to read that Lifey, we had a Cocker when I was 18ish, he was nuts attacked my Brother and bit later attacked Mam that was the end for him then, father took him down, sad to see a beautiful dog go, but he was unpredictable and dangerous.

Took him up to my Mrs house when we were courting, she had washed her hair and walked into the lounge with a towel over her head, dog went nuts, I told her to take towel off and he laid back down as quiet as a mouse, completely bonkers, sadly.

"He" was called Meg as mentioned. She died last Christmas.

Sorry to hear that, only after I posted did I realise the date, heart felt apologies.

Don’t worry mate.

Here’s the new kid on the block.

Lovely looking dog, proper character I bet :D

He’s simply a nasty twat Rog.
Horrible bloke.

Just no need of it, the family have been very upset in losing Chester 3 months ago. He just wasn’t safe around children, he ‘went’ for a couple of children and the grandson was unable to go near him. It was a difficult decision but we believe to be the correct one. We explained the situation to the breeder who agreed to take him back, the alternative was ruled out.
Just thought that the remark was unnecessary.
