The calling of Cardiff as Scumdiff. Am I in a minority to think this?

No. There must be a better pejorative description.

Aye, extremely childish.

I tend to refer to them as Blueturd’s myself.

Nah, f*ck em. I do cringe though when I see people on Facebook calling Messi and Ronaldo “Pessi” or “Penaldo”, I believe it’s something to do with them both scoring quite a few penalties, still embarrassing though.

They'll always be scum, to me.

Succinct and accurate. Beautiful almost.

It's always been in football that your nearest rivals are called "scum"
Very playgroundish at times the tribalism.

I’m sure the term was first coined in the 80s by Pompey fans calling Southampton fans scum, due to dockers from Southampton breaking a strike held in Portsmouth many years before. Scum being an acronym for Southampton Corporate Union Men.

Personally I never refer to them as Scum or Scumdiff.
So yes I agree with you.
However many that do use those terms are decent folk and it is very much tongue in cheek.
Guess they call us as bad or worse ?

Listen guys, my wife is from Cardiff.

So please can we keep the childish and unimaginative insults going, I could do with a few more to use.

I hope those going on Saturday are taking roses and cuddly teddy bears to throw on the pitch.

So as to not upset anyone.

F*ck sake, where we going.
