Mo Barrow was our Gambian before wasn’t he?
He is indeed. It's a mad place, tiny country with generally lovely people who don't really have much spent on them...a bit like Wales really except it's hot as fuck and never rains. I went on holiday there as a kid just as Yahye Jammeh and the army took over in the 90s, military coup d'etats aside I've never felt as welcome in any foreign country as I did back there.

Went to The Gambia a few years ago in Feb for week of all inclusive sun.
There was a dust cloud from the Sahara that blocked the sun for 3 days :ROFLMAO:
It was a decent place though. Very welcoming & most of the blokes there were football mad.
I'd been to Morocco & Egypt before, but this is what I imagined Africa to be. Would happily go back.
