I think this guy deserves special mention this season. An excellent athlete, like having one of us out there on the pitch in terms of passion. Had a couple of seasons where he didn't 'kick on' as we had hoped, but since going to three at the back, he's been on a different level. And I for one am so glad.

We were all keen to highlight his lack of progress, so I think it's time he got the credit he's due now.

Yes indeed. Both he and Bidwell have hugely improved their contributions since we went to a back five. But I think Cooper needs to mix it up a bit in the latter stages of a game, since it feels like teams are starting to work us out attacking down the flanks via the two wing backs. Would like to see us going for more of a midfield attacking option with the likes of Dhanda and Palmer to try and get the second goal to close games off as opposed to relying on our (admittedly good) defence. Not sure I can take 32 more second halves like yesterday; although a win is always welcome !

He seems to have channelled his ire inwards rather than outwards. There have been almost no displays of the kind of petulance we saw in seasons past and a lot more knuckling down.

Great to see and he's really beginning to live up to the potential he looked to have.

My only concern is who would replace Connor, as he can't play every game.

I assume it would be Naughton, who is a decent replacement but I don't think would be able to get up and down the pitch ibn the same way.

He's seen a few of his mates sign for bigger money/clubs, so perhaps the penny dropping that the same may come his way with improvement. He's been great so far, keep it going young man, we can all benefit.

100%

He’s tempered his ‘whining’ and is more focused on the task at hand. Seems far more mature this season.

Still got a ‘rolling on the floor’ dive in him though, which you could argue is something that we’ve needed down the years. You can see why opposition sides hate the bloke though!

He‘s an angel compared to that whingeing
cheating little Knockeart who played for Forest on Saturday.

So he handed a few rollockings out. Wow. That was the Captains job, but Connor did it for him.
He rarely lets us down, always gives 100%.

His contract ends - i think - at the end of the season. The club need to get it sorted right now.

His contract ends June 2022.

Handing rollockings out when you're playing shit yourself isn't the best look. He's more concerned with his own performances now than other peoples and he's kicked on into being a much better player for it.
