Recently with fulton we are quicker getting ball into the final third and having ayew up front we look dangerous.

But as has been mentioned several times grimes slows play down to a snail's pace which therefore gives teams time to organise their defence.

Agreed and most passes are entirely predictable which helps them even more

Grimes has become very predictable. He receives the ball, does a dummy to his left or right, stops, and then rolls a sideways or backward 5 metre pass.

In that space of time, the opposition have 9/10 players behind the ball. It abs killed us last night.

What the whole game including the first half when a Pulis team was passing through us?

My comment was about the ref not the football.

Apart from the first 10mins Wednesday dominated us and could have scored a couple more. There wasn't much for the ref to make decisions on but still had the start of a a feeling that things weren't going to go our our way.

Second half was a better performance but I still couldn't see us winning due to our slow thought when getting near their penalty area.

Well said Clive.

Grimes needs benching after that performance, virtually his only forward pass all night was to Smith who apart from being pretty gash last night aint Usain Bolt
