Cooper out for three months

Saw this referenced in the match thread, but thought it was worth bringing attention to.

I don't think Cooper is a particularly special player, but he balances the team well and we'll struggle to find that balance without him. Allen led the press from the front of midfield against Oxford, and did well, but he lasts barely an hour nowadays. Cullen is equally lively off the ball, but he lacks the end product of a creative midfielder.

I'd wager MPH moves there for the time being, and Bianchini off the left handside? He's looked much, much better through the middle imo

The break (not the fracture) might actually do Ollie the world of good.

It will certainly do us the world of good. I may be imagining it but our series of blanks coincided with his becoming a regular in the side.
He certainly gets overhyped a lot.

He's an attacking midfielder who's 25 next month and he has 8 goals and 8 assists in his Swansea career so far (almost 90 games). He does work hard but he's far too lightweight and is easily muscled off the ball. He's definitely more of a nuisance to the opposition than a creative force

I think he'd be better as an 8. Has the engine and tenacity for it

He isn't physical enough though.

I have a running joke with my dad and daughter that "Cooper's on the floor again" because it happens almost every time he's near the ball

His constant falling over whenever someone challenges him for the ball is embarrassing. He shouldn't be anywhere near our first XI.
