Still think he blew our best chances of promotion and certainly bored the arse off everyone (amazingly not as boring as classic Martinball, which I would have said was impossible)

Two consecutive play-offs in his first two seasons of management (I'm not including his youth stuff, which was brilliant as well).
A promotion in his third season.
A semi-final of a major trophy in his fourth.

He's achieved more there in his "learning phase" than a lot (most) managers achieve in their whole careers. And still there are fans who don't rate him. It's a results based business, let's hope Russ realises that sooner rather than later.
