Interested to know anyone's experience of using this car garage. They have a motor I'm interested in but seeing very mixed reviews online. When i went there it seemed to be a bunch of kids running the business. Might have caught them on a bad day though

Thanks in advance

The original branch in Miskin had , shall we say, a mixed reputation. Tried to sell my wife a Kia that went up in smoke on its test drive. But that was a few years ago in fairness.

I’ve bought off them, the one on Fabian Way. They’re okay, as far as used car sales go.

Their schtik is a bit shit - they promise you won’t find the equivalent car cheaper anywhere else, which you won’t, but on that basis they won’t budge from the windscreen price and they’re quite smug about it. Just shop around, you might find one slightly more pricey, and we’re talking pennies, but you could do a deal and knock hundreds off. I kind of wish I’d find that but when you’ve decided on a car it’s hard to shop around again. You can definitely buy a lot cheaper though, even though Corner Park claim you can’t.

Go to Ron Skinner ( Cross Hands, Tredegar and Cardiff )
Thoroughly recommend them for used cars and aftersales service

Out of interest has anyone ever used Cinch - the one constantly advertised on TV and now sponsoring England cricket so they must be doing OK somewhere along the line

All the online sellers like Cazoo, Cinch and Carzam are very competitive in the market. You get 14 days to return the car and it's pretty easy. Can't go wrong but their part exchange prices are pretty crap so be wary.

I work in the car trade, best advice I can give is to get your own valuation on the car you're buying and selling to ensure you don't lose money!

JBG still posting on here? He gave me a great deal on a car for my son but my wife bought one from somewhere else because it was cheaper and it turned out a whole lot sh 1 tter.
