Costas

Basically it’s a small milky coffee.
I did guess that to be honest, but it's yet another yanky term for a good old british term, may try one at somer point, latte's are a mixture of water and milk mostly, but it's an excuse to add a quid or more.

Have a milky coffee at home and its a big difference, or go to little backstreet cafe and some thing would be nicer and cheaper.

The taxpayer and customer gets royally ripped off on a daily basis.

I like a Latte, I'm not a coffee lover per sa so I've no idea what a good or a bad coffee is and nor do I care to be honest.

I'm a tea drinker and by the gallon, I had a nice Milky Coffee today with a toasted Tea Cake put together by my very own hands and it was delicious. 😂

Oh and I don't have sugar with any hot drink.
Sorry only just seen this.

Costa is the coffee equivalent of a cup of tea that looks like the tea bag has only been briefly shown to the water. Almost undrinkable without an extra shot.

I love coffee - just black, no sugar, although very occasionally I like a latte or a flat white. Prefer it made with soya, almond or oat milk though. Normal milk in that quantity doesn’t really agree with me.

Don’t drink tea - I quite like it, but never drink it apart from a herbal tea sometimes before bed. Can’t remember the last time I had a normal tea. Which is bizarre as I come from a family that could keep PG Tips going pretty much on their own.

Yorkshire Tea, Tea bags I use, I drink to much of the Stuff I have been drinking 2ltrs or more of water last few months though after the Doc read me the riot act, Mrs can't drink normal tea it makes her all jittery and starts her heart racing so she drinks Decaf Tea, same with Coffee she likes a cup of Coffee I'm not fussed unless its a milky or a latte.

Flat White's an Aussie invention. Small. strong and milky. My second favourite after a cortado.

Costa and Starbucks are both poor. Prefer McDonald's flat white for a fraction of the cost. The Nero one is great though. Much stronger and richer. Can't abide weak coffee after visiting Ethiopia a few times. Now that makes a doppio look like dishwater.

I like a latte in Nero’s there used to be one virtually opposite the Owainglyndawr pub in Cardiff that is or was a nice quirky little Nero outlet.

Costa is dreadful coffee. Plus it’s American owned now (hasn’t been British for about 6 years or so).

Caffè Nero is better coffee and British so they should have the contract with the NHS when it comes up for renewal.
Nescafe cappuccino for me , £2.50 for a box of 12 when on offer. There's no way I'm paying £4 for a coffee, and I'm not tight with my money. Hardly ever buy coffee out.

Just a heads up, I've been taking a teaspoon of honey in my tea/coffee instead of sugar for months now, absolutely fantastic it tastes too! 👍
Mate of mine does that, he called in last week for a cuppa and he had me put a teaspoon of honey in his tea, l don’t take sugar in any hot drink, l don’t drink soft drinks only beer or water mostly water these days 2ltrs a day, lm pissing like an horse all day long🙈😡
Bleeding doctors 🤣

I can't believe this thread has reached 3 pages without Skippy telling you all that it's like Mumsnet around here...

I'm often horrified at the price of coffee but youngsters spend in these places like it is almost free. Where do they get their cash from?
