As the Swans are becoming increasingly frustrated at their ability to bring in a left wing back in this window then could they be thrown a late lifeline with the news that Newcastle could be open to letting Jamal Lewis leave on loan in the window. The Swans let Jake Bidwell join Coventry earlier in...

Would be a great signing, here’s hoping Bournemouth don’t come in for him

That would be a serious upgrade considering how good he was for Norwich. I'm extremely sceptical this will happen.

Doubt it.

No chance I’d have thought but then suspect if there is anything in the Lewis link - other than he’s a LB & available - it would be a loan so up to us how much of his wages we offer to cover.

Pedersen is like Christie out of contract in June so could be a buy or loan with the chance we convince him to sign permanently in June.

Just for clarity on this one - it wasn't a transfer link just an opinion piece that given WOL was reporting our inability to get a left back and a very good one is available on loan we should at least be asking

I Dont believe for a second there is anything in the Pedersen one

Yes unfortunately there's probably nothing in either

Martin is gonna end up as frustrated as Cooper was this time last yr, all I can see is maybe a couple of panic loans of players that are virtually unknown and it'll all be a bit meh!!

Would much rather wait until the summer than panic buy anything now. Why didn't we keep Biddy. Then again, Martin wasn't playing him, or Whittaker or Cooper, so he can't complain. He's no worse off at all.

It will give Martin another excuse anyway. No doubt Smith will stay attacking midfield rather than combining Wolf and Ntcham, and 'we didn't get help in attack' but he won't try Obafemi and Piroe.

I'll be honest, I'm sick of all the whining about replacements when he's made no real attempt to make the best of what we already had. Yeah we'd all like 6 new fantastic players in...cloud cuckoo land.

Not in a good mood today. Is Paterson still in the building, the workshy, greedy, lump of clag.
