The media yesterday’s likened the Irish strike partnership of Michael Obafemi and Troy Parrott to Spurs duo Harry Kane and Son after both scored and assisted each other. Parrott is well known to Swans boss Russell Martin after he signed the striker on loan for MK Dons just before leaving for South...

Scored 8 in league one last year or something like that, I’d be worrying if he was a Piroe replacement.

I think this is the way the club is gonna go to keep wages low apart from maybe one or two exceptions, Martin is gonna have some serious coaching to do to improve these players to get the best out of them.
I think any talk of promotion is gonna be quickly quelled, but then again who knows.

Promotion? I’d be happy to stay up! Can see this window getting messy but maybe I’m just being miserable.

Both have bright futures for sure, but the new Son & Kane partnership 😂

He's only 20.

Piroe had scored 3 senior goals in his career when he arrived.

Obafemi had scored 4 goals in 3 seasons.

We're not buying a proven forward, if we did it would be someone from the lower leagues who we can afford. Either way unproven at this level.

We'll buy/loan potential.

This is the point. Any player whose stats we like the look of will be out of our price range. We’re rummaging through Poundland’s bargain bin.
