Let's be fair here, we will be in the play offs and I really have very little excitement with next to no expectation in gaining promotion with what we have at our disposal both in management and what we have to offer.

The situation gets even more difficult, if we were to go up then Cooper stays...fail in the play offs and Cooper has a real chance of moving on.

Its all a bit fooked up really.....whats the best option hey!

Get promoted, get the money, sack the twat after the worst start in history. Restructure and do it properly next time.

Not going to happen. More likely, stay down, be shit, sack the twat in November when we are scuffing around the arse end.

I said in February that if we were to fall at the final hurdle again it might be a good idea to shake hands with Steve and say thank you very much.
Saying that reaching the play offs in two successive season in his first job is a fantastic achievement.

Two successive play offs is an achievement but there is a clear issue with Cooper and his style...its Sousa all over again.
We need to start bringing a threat going forward, goals into the team but Cooper will continue with Shape, structure and not taking chances.

I think a play off fail and a parting of ways is best, Cooper moving up the ladder with more pay and us looking to add some flair and goals into a team that has a defensive structure in place from the 2 years under Cooper.

No a play off fail shouldn’t even be thought about.
We need a promotion mostly for off field problems.
Call yourself a fan man.

Obviously the first choice is promotion but the thought of Cooper ball just deflates me.

Best option then
Promotion
Cooper stays
Cooper sacked after a poor start
New Manager who plays football
Whatever happens from there

🤔😁😂😭

Not at all like Sousa.
Sousa maintained and developed the style Martinez put in place.
He taught us to be organised and defend but had a series of failed and failing attackers. Glass legs Beattie aside he had to make d9 with scraps and he had no influence on transfers.
Cooper has had nearly two years, got most of the players he asked for, many players with PL experience and a crop of academy players to choose from.
Cooper is a repeat of Monk... boing football, little sense of tactics, less ability in man management, blames others for his failings, picks his favourites irrespective of form, takes praise when we win.

Whatever way you look at the Cooper situation alongside the Sousa reign....both were boring in their set up and how they wanted the teams to play.

The style is not what Swansea City is about and the fans want to see, writing is on the wall for Cooper but as a club presently then there is no way the board will be proactive and will get rid of him off their own back.

If he went who would you go after?

Martinez or Brendan :D

they wont take any shit, and certainly wont set us up to be so negative

Sousa played the Swansea style without the attack. He was an important part of our development and an important bridge between Martinez and Rodgers. Cooper has taken our football backwards, it’s league two fayre. Hideous style and clearly not getting anywhere near what he should out of the players, and anyone who says it’s only been the last couple of months or starts comparing our wage bill to other clubs is clearly an imbecile.

Can't begin to imagine who you might have in mind. 🤣🤣🤣
