Coventry v Middlesbrough

Something's got to be done about this handballl thing. It's ruining the game. There was zero intention to handle the ball there. It should be down to the ref to decide if it was a deliberate playing of the ball with the hand.
Things were certainly a lot easier when it used to be accidental or deliberate. You knew where you were.

I agree, but both of them are going to give us a hard time at our place before the end of the season. God, I'd love to beat Coventry and dent their promotion push.
Boro seem to be over paying for the sake of it and Coventry aren't anything special.

At home these days anything can happen. Agreed it would nice to out a dent in someone's promotion push and we're due a big scalp.

Coventry were very good in the first half
High press gave Middlesbrough big problems .
Passed the ball well .
Second half couldn't keep up the pace .
Middlesbrough pass & keep the ball well .
You can see why Hellberg would be a good fit for us .

If he had their players you mean?

Do you think he would?

Got to be honest I found Boro a bit boring and predictable.

Looks to me he is a possession based coach
Who likes to keep the ball .
Most of our players are comfortable with the ball .
Yes they did appear to overplay.
For me Coventry have a better balance to their play led by a centre forward who leads the line .

Had to laugh at Boro centre back Ayling having a right go at keeper Brynn after the second Coventry goal.
It was a Route 1 clearance from Rushworth over everyone's head, and Ayling was running shoulder to shoulder with Wright towards the goal as the ball bounced in front of them. The keeper advanced to gather it, but he changed his mind and back pedalled, thinking Ayling could deal with it. Meanwhile Ayling slackened off a bit thinking the keeper was coming to gather. Unfortunately for both, Wright won the race and slammed it into the net.
The air was blue between the two Boro men 🤣🤣🤣!
