• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Fair enough.
I've just seen so many fickle fans over the years forget shit just because of *insert incident/game*
I mean the furore over Duff and his Cardiff comment is an example.
I agree with you about enjoying today. They did well.
I think I have the opposite issues. It's quiet worrying 🤣🤣 I still hold malice towards JonJo Shelvey for his performance in his matches towards end of his time with us where he stood still and just watched as player went around him and they scored to Fulton getting a red card in the final few years ago. I need therapy 😂😂😂. But joking aside, enjoy the moment. 👌👌👌

This division is highly competitive; a few victories could propel us into the playoffs, while a losing streak could send us to the relegation zone, a scenario we must avoid. The coming weeks will be critical and suspenseful.

Someone’s spending his Sunday evening playing with Chat GPT or something similar :ROFLMAO:

There is always one club in the 2nd half of the season that comes flying out of nowhere up the table and ends up in the playoff places or thereabouts.

Not saying its going to be us this season, one hard fought scrappy win where we only created four chances of any real note will not be enough to restore the confidence that has taken as much of a battering as our goal difference over the last month.

Stranger things have happened however.

The division is shaping up like it has done most seasons for a good few years now.

Two or three really good teams at the top, two or three really shit ones at the bottom, then the rest of them (including us) as just one homogenous mass in the middle. Potentially a good run away from the playoffs, or a bad run away from dicing with the drop.

It's why I've never got on board with the idea that our squad is particularly terrible. If it was we'd be down the arse end with Plymouth already. It's decidedly average and a good coach could easily take us to a comfortable mid table finish. A bad one could relegate us.

It's a funny old league and seems to be tighter this year. The board need to wake up to the fact that a bit of organisation, good planning and a concentrated recruitment plan could see things shift to a real play off push.
The league will frustrate fans up and down the country that their team can easily push up the league or get dragged into a dogfight......it's what makes the league so great(as a neutral 😁)
