I saw a similar headline yesterday on Twitter and the usual oddballs are up in arms saying the government are trying to control the population again by advising us to stay at home if we’re unwell. They are an absolute joy to watch 🤣🤣🤣
Just goes to show the stated the country/world is in when a government has to advise people to stay at home if they don't feel very well. 😂

Far too many people phoning ambulances when they don’t need to and don’t get me started on most of the fuckwits going to A&E.
If you need to sit in A&E for 18 hours are you really that ill?

Sorry to hear this, very sad.
I fell and broke my hip on 10 December and decided to go to Neath Port Talbot by car. It was not a pleasant trip there to say the least but I thought about the wait for an ambulance and decided the car was the lesser of two evils. I got checked in to NPT and they did an X-ray and confirmed a clean break just below the femoral head. I got transferred to Morriston about 7.30 the next morning and luckily a bed became available very quickly so no waiting in the ambulance.
My experience in hospital was wonderful, all staff were superb and treated us all in the ward brilliantly, the doctors and nursing staff couldn’t do enough for me. The NHS is not completely broken but needs reorganisation from the top down.
Thank you , glad everything went well for you.
