A grounds maintenance contractor who lives in this area never had their contract renewed in July. They have been doing pitch maintenance on The Liberty, plus other grounds, for many years. Maybe that's got something to do with it.

The pitch was relayed at the start of the season. I haven't seen it look that bad for a long time.
