I mean him no malice even though he’s a total twat but reading the Planetswans archives on twitter made me think.
Back during the Petty kerfuffle my recollection is that Dai was the kind of foot soldier doing all the donkey work running around everywhere.
I can still see him pulling up outside the Vetch gates in that grey Ford on the Welsh news.

My question is what happened when all the shares were allocated then?
The reason I ask is my mate saw him working in a well known Swansea supermarket last week, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with working in a supermarket but how did everyone else end up a millionaire and Dai ended up working in a supermarket?
You’d also think his chums Dineen,Jenkins,Morgan and Swedehead would have seen him alright.

Tenko was Jenkins Huw Lake, a gofer, didn't really have a pot to piss in.

A copper nark also 👍🏻

Gave him a wave the other day in Morrisons and the fecker blanked me 🤣

His involvement was a strange one. He owned (and I think still owns) one share. It was the only share at one point (and it is the reason why the Trust for so many years had 199,999 shares but Katzen (for example) had 200,000.

Overall between him and the clog they had 50,000 shares. Nobody ever really knew what the split was between them but it was always rumoured to be 5k/45k in favour of the clog. I can't remember when but at some stage, the clog bought the shares that DM had (I think it was before the PL days) even though he was always kept at arms length by the club because he was a loose cannon.

DM was involved in the last few years as he used to drive Jenkins to matches etc

There was a rumour that he and the clog were no longer pals but I havent seen DM for several years now to know

Interesting. They could have seen him alright but I’m not surprised the greedy gets didn’t.
So he still owns one share today?

I remember him coming to see me before one game at the Liberty about ten years ago because of something I’d said on Planetswans.

Another thing I stumbled across earlier too was the interview Dineen gave earlier this year pleading his innocence over the sale of the club.
In the interview he states he only owned d 1.6% of the club in his own.
I assume that’s because It was in the name of his family company and his brother and father owned the rest. ( I think)

What exactly does owning 1.6% of the club actually mean?
He’s mentioned several times in the past that he had to remortgage his house to put money in for his share.
If he only ended up with 1.6% of the club to himself wtf did he remortgage,a fucking Wendy house?

Everyone knows he makes stuff up all the time though. Work on the basis that if he says something is true it probably isn’t.

Yeah he does seem to be a bit of a fantasist and a massive hypocrite too.

I think it was mentioned that Dineen was given sole ownership of BVS when his brother and father cashed the shares in so I’m really intrigued about this 1.6%.

Did he threaten to give you a chinese burn, or perhaps a wet willy 🤔

Had no time for the bloke after he stated to me during a telephone call that "The trust were not shareholders". But he stuck with his 'buddies' to the end, and the decent thing to do would have been to see him ok. It just further shows them up for what they are. A bunch of self serving c***'s.
